ISHIMBAY SPECIALIZED CHEMICAL PLANT OF CATALYST is the new innovative enterprise constructed on the basis of the complete line which had been put by the company “Haldor Topsoe”. Using specialized equipment the modern nanotechnology for manufacturing the highly effective catalysts and adsorbents is mastered. We are constantly conducting jobs on perfection the quality of let out production and perspective development with the use of nanotechnology. We cooperate with the leading scientific institutes and experts in Russia. Our pride is the superb equipped laboratory consisting of:

• Electronic scanning microscope “Jeol” which allows to study the structure and the surface of the catalyst and adsorbent at the molecular level;
• X-ray fluorescent and the atomic absorptive spectrophotometers for definition the chemical structure of catalysts and adsorbents;
• Mercury porosimeter for measuring the sizes of pores;
• Analyzer of the specific surface;
• Analyzer of the physical adsorption by means of the multidot ?-method determining distribution of micro- and mesopores on radii;
• X-ray diffractometer “Siemens”, “Rigaku” for X-ray phase analyses:
• Devices for definition the hardness of the product and resistance of the granulate and microspherical catalysts to attrition;
• Pilot and laboratory units for definition the catalytic properties which allows to make tests in the modes as much as possible approached to the industrial ones;

Pilot adsorptive units allowing to simulate various content of gases and to check up the adsorptive properties of different kinds of adsorbents under pressure. The technological and industrial opportunities of the Plant allow to let out a wide spectrum of catalysts for hydrogenation processes of reception the highly economical and ecologically friendly types of fuels adequate to the European standards:

• RK-231 (Ni,Co) – deep purification of diesel fuels
• RK-438 – hydrofining of oils
• RK-720 – production of low cold-test diesel fuel
• RK-442 (Ni, Co) – hydrofining of the catalytic cracking raw-material
• RK-242 – prehydrotreating of the reforming raw
• RK-222 – prehydrotreating of the reforming raw.
